2016 iMac vs Xcode

I’ve go a 2016 iMac which has difficulty running Xcode Is it time to upgrade to a new Mac?

Since the latest version of Xcode requires macOS Sonoma, I would recommend getting a new Mac that will be capable of running the newer OS's. Unless you need to run an Intel CPU, I would recommend going with a new Mac that has an M2 or M3 chip.
