Hey,

This may seem like a dumb question, but is a snow leopard disk that comes with a mac able to install snow leopard on other computers as well? I wasn't sure if the disk that comes with a retail purchase was the same as the one you buy separately.

Retail and then Disks that come with your computer are different. The ones that comes with a Model of computer can be used with other computers of the same model, but not different models.
